ABRIC 2020/21


“Advancing Knowledge, Embracing Digital Economy”


INTRODUCTION

The digital economy is developing at an accelerated pace globally. The benefits are huge including providing avenue for innovation, competitiveness, growth and cost reduction in the transactions. It holds huge potentials not only the large scale industries but also the small and medium industries. The business that adopt this digital technologies will capture the bigger market share at a faster rate. Realizing this huge potential of digital economy, the Faculty of Business and Management (FBM), UiTM Puncak Alam Campus and its collaborative partners will be organising 3rd Advances in Business Research International Conference (ABRIC 2020/21) with the main theme “Advancing Knowledge, Embracing Digital Economy.

FBM has successfully organized ABRIC in 2015 and ABRIC in 2016 in Langkawi, Kedah. As a result of the success of ABRIC 2015 and ABRIC 2016, FBM is delighted to host ABRIC 2020/21 which will be held virtually from 26-27 January 2021. This is to provide avenue for postgraduate students, academicians, practitioners locally and abroad to present their research papers and have exchange of ideas in the areas of digital economy. International and local speakers, both from academic as well as industry, are invited to share their knowledge and experiences in the area of Social Science and, Science and Technology.


The accepted papers* will be considered in the publication in one (1) of the journals** below:

Steps for papers to be published in SCOPUS

1. Accepted paper for the conference

2. The paper is further recommended in the review for SCOPUS

3. The author is informed

4. Author pays additional amount as per required by respective SCOPUS's Journal.

5. The paper is sent to respective SCOPUS's Journal for publication

CONFERENCE AIMS

The aim of the 3rd Advances in Business Research International Conference 2020/21 (ABRIC 2020/21) is to further our understanding of how the issues associated with business digital innovation in the 4th industry revolution should be addressed and dealt with. ABRIC 2020/21 targets participants from universities, government agencies and industries with the ultimate aim of bridging the gap between academia and the industry. Research collaborations between the academia and industry can lead to the advancement of useful information in providing real time insights on business advances as well as creating an international collaborations in knowledge, research and innovation.
