CALL FOR PAPERS
Kindly submit research papers and case studies on topics relating to the conference themes and sub-themes (or tracks). Paper submissions are categorized into various topics and sub-topics. Each paper shall be submitted only for one theme. The following list is not exhaustive and topics not included here will be considered:

Submission of Abstracts
Note that an abstract should contain between 200 - 300 words, outlining the background, methodology, and the results of your research. Include up to six keywords and the topic area in your submission. Please go to this link http://submit.confbay.com/conf/icdi2016 to submit your abstract online.
Submission of Full Papers
All manuscripts shall be original and should not have been previously accepted in another conference or be under review at another conference. They shall be unpublished. Documents must be prepared using Microsoft Word. The document must be single spaced, with 1-inch margins on all four sides and full-justified style, be in Times Roman font at 10 points with the exception of the title, which must be at11 points. As a guide, articles must be between 3,000 and 4,000 words in length. A title of not more than 10 words should be provided.
All papers should be written in English and should not exceed 15 pages including tables, charts and references. Abstracts without full text will not be accepted. All documents will be blind reviewed by the members of the conference committee to ensure that an adequate standard is maintained as per submission guidelines.
The author (s) will be informed about the outcome along with the reviewers' comments within three weeks from the arrival date of their paper. The final version (camera ready) of the paper must be prepared on the basis of reviewers' comments and submitted by 25 July 2016. Submission Guideline
All the submitted abstracts/full papers would undergo a double- blind review process by the review committee of ICDI. The contact details of the reviewers and in case of rejection of an abstract/paper, the comments would not be disclosed under any circumstances.
Guidelines for Submission of Abstracts / Proposals / Full papers:
- Abstracts/full papers can be submitted through online submissions; alternatively, you can also email it to us on icdi2016@must.edu.my
- The abstract/paper must be original in nature. Copied abstracts from any source will not be accepted. It should be conveying new ideas and concepts and the author must have the full understanding of it.
- Abstract should not exceed the word limit of 200-300 words.
- The full paper should not exceed the word limit of 4,000.
- Abstract/paper taken from copyrighted research will automatically be rejected.
- Only those abstracts/full papers would be included in schedule and proceedings of the event which are submitted with the prescribed registration fee.
- Previously published abstracts/papers are not accepted.
- The author has to make the mode of presentation clear at the time of submission of abstracts.
- Only those authors will be allowed to present the paper in the event whose name appears on the schedule. No representative of an author will be allowed to present the paper on behalf of the author.
- However, if the paper is submitted by the main and co-authors, the author would be allowed to present the paper whose name appears on the schedule as the main author or co-author.
- Abstracts that do not meet the criteria of the review committee or are not relevant to the theme of the event would be rejected.
Guidelines for Oral Presentation:
The authors will be notified about the time slot 15 days prior to the event/conference in which they would present their respective papers. In the general case, an author presenting his paper alone or accompanied with co-authors, the standard time allotted would be 30 minutes. 5 minutes extra would be given for Q&A session. The general guidelines for oral presentation are as follows:
- Each presenter would be given 30 minutes time to present their respective paper. Extra time for presentation would only be given to those authors who have sought for submission of extra pages. If two or more co-authors are presenting together, the allotted time is still 30 minutes for presentation. 5 minutes extra time would be given for Q&A session to each presenter.
- All the presenters would be provided with the standard facilities for their presentation i.e. computers; screens, projectors etc. in all venues of the conference. If an author has some specific needs, he has to inform about it to the managing committee 15 days prior to the event. Any request for specific need at the time of the event might not be arranged.
- Every session is taken care by a session chair. The session chair is responsible for time management of the sessions. At the beginning of a session, the session chair will introduce all the presenting authors to the audience.

Guidelines for Poster and Virtual Presentation:
All the necessary arrangements for poster and virtual presentation are made on the conference venue. The poster presenters are requested to be present at the venue 30 minutes prior to the commencement of the sessions. If you have any specific needs regarding your presentation, kindly let us know prior to the event.
