This conference aims to provide a platform for officers, executives, professionals and academics in the management of legal, integrity and internal audit affairs for the public and private organizations around the world to share ideas and knowledge as well as promoting work experience and expertise through paper presentation. The theme for the conference is “The new normal: What does it mean for compliance?”. Thus, all related papers/studies which suit the theme are welcomed to be presented at the conference.

Broadly the topic should be within the scope of law, integrity and the internal audit. Suggested subtopics include the list provided in 'Sub-themes', although authors should not feel limited by them.

Submission and Acceptance
ICLIA2021 accepts submission of abstract for presentation at the conference. Abstract refers to an overview of what the presentation would be – authors can then present their ideas in more detail during their presentation sessions. All presenters are eligible to be considered for Best Presentation Awards. 

Submission of full paper is required for authors who wish to be considered for the Best Paper Award/journal/chapters in book publication.

Publication Opportunities
Abstracts presented at ICLIA2021 will be published in the Program Book.

Selected full papers will be published in one of the following publications subject to compliance with the editorial standards and procedures.

i.    Chapters in Book
An edited book with collection of articles with unifying theme will be physically published by Penerbit UMT. A good-quality edited book is often read by more people than a journal article because it can be adopted as textbooks on graduate courses so that research can reach a wider audience.

ii.    Journal of Business and Social Development (JBSD)
Journal of Business and Social Development is an international journal published twice a year. Cited by MyCite, UDLEdge Social Science & Humanities Citation Index and Focus (Journals and Conference Proceedings), JBSD aims to publish scientific articles on arts and social sciences, applied arts, applied sciences, accounting, business and economics.  See details at: https://jbsd.umt.edu.my/

Selected papers are required to undergo further reviews and editing before the actual publication. Please be informed that the publication will be subjected to meeting the editorial policy and standards of the publication.
