Call for Abstract / Papers
INSIGHT 2018 - 1st INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON RELIGION, SOCIAL SCIENCES AND TECHNOLOGICAL EDUCATION will be held in Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia on the 25-26 September 2018. The conference is an interdisciplinary international conference that invites participants from around the world to meet and exchange the latest ideas concerning all fields of Religious Studies, Social Sciences, Arts & Humanities, Technology and Education.
Types of Contributions
You can present your paper or abstract in two modalities: in person (oral) or virtually (non-attending authors). ( REGISTRATION AND ABSTRACT SUBMISSION: IN PERSON (ORAL)- CLOSED on 31st MAY 2018)You need to specify the type of your contribution as the "Participation/Presentation Category" when submitting the abstract via Conference Bay system.
In person (oral) presentation:
Presentation duration: 10 minutes each paper. The Conference committee will select proposed papers and arrange the session accordingly. The sessions will be arranged according to languages or the sub-themes. This will enable participants from different disciplines to share ideas and have a wider understanding of languages and sub-themes. The presentation venues are equipped with computer and LCD projector.
Virtual Presenter (Non-attending authors):
(OPEN FOR SUBMISSION: DUE DATE 31st MAY 2018) CLOSED
If you wish your paper to be published in the Conference Proceedings CD - with an ISBN number - but you are not able to attend the Conference in person, you can submit your paper as "virtual participant".
Virtual Presenter will receive a copy of the Conference Proceeding CD with ISBN Number and a presenter certificate.

Conference Language
The conference will accept papers in English, Arabic and Bahasa Melayu.
Abstracts in Arabic and Bahasa Melayu must be accompanied by abstract translation in English.
Venue
Faculty of Quranic and Sunnah Studies, Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) located on the main campus of Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia, Nilai, Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. Its location near the Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) is 24 km and takes about 25 minutes drive; 30 km from the Putrajaya federal government administrative center takes about 30 minutes; and about 50 km in less than 50 minutes to the Malaysian capital, Kuala Lumpur.
Abstract Template
Abstract text length should not be less than 150 words and not be longer than 350 words.
All abstracts be written in .doc or .docx format. Please submit your abstract according to the following template.

Final Paper Template
Page limit: There is a limit of 10 pages for a final paper.
Articles in English Language and Bahasa Melayu are to be written with single spacing; using Arial font size 11 pt. The paper should use the author-date system.
Articles in Arabic, the font should be Traditional Arabic; single spacing ; size 16 pt for the text and size 12 pt for the footnote. The paper should use the footnote system.
All final papers should be written in .doc or .docx format.

Social Event
Nilai, is a town located in Negeri Sembilan, Malaysia. There are many things to enjoy around the city from shopping to sightseeing. Major retail brands like Tesco and Giant and numerous smaller fashion and retail outlets including services such as hair salons, printing services, laundry, clinics, and pharmacies are just with 3 kilometers radius from the campus. Nilai is also known as the largest wholesale shopping hub in Malaysia.
Restaurants and stalls serving both Malaysian and international cuisine are affordable options for daily meals. Major fast food outlets like McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut, Domino Pizza and Nandos are located close to the campus.
Nearby Cities like Putrajaya, Cyberjaya and Seremban offer amenities such as cinema, parks, malls, and international eateries. They can easily can accessed via public transport.
Putrajaya serves as the federal administrative centre of Malaysia. Stylish buildings jostle with open spaces, making it an embodiment of how technology exists in harmony with nature. Golf courses, sports stadium, cultural centres and shopping malls dot the city.
The vibrant cosmopolitan city of Kuala Lumpur is just a 45 minute drive up north. From the KLCC Twin Towers, restaurants on roof tops, malls, to adventure and theme parks and exciting nightlife, Kuala Lumpur offers one of the best cosmopolitan city experiences, at reasonable costs.
The are museums, bird parks, handicraft bazaars, and heritage rows in different cities throughout Malaysia.
