BACKGROUND
Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Sarawak, in collaboration with WMIT Group Sdn Bhd (WMIT), proudly presents the Asia Conference on Agriculture and Plantation Industry (ACAPI2026), taking place on 25–27 November 2026 in Kuching, Sarawak, MALAYSIA.
Held under the theme “Repositioning Asia’s Plantation and Agriculture Industry for a Sustainable and Resilient Future,” ACAPI2026 brings together policymakers, industry leaders, researchers, and global experts to explore innovative solutions shaping the future of agriculture and plantation industries in Asia.
The conference will highlight key areas including sustainability and ESG practices, climate resilience, food security and supply chain efficiency, policy and governance, labour and productivity innovation, and the empowerment of smallholders and future agro-talent.
Through keynote addresses, expert forums, and research presentations, participants will gain valuable insights into emerging technologies, sustainable practices, and strategic opportunities in the agriculture and plantation sectors.
With a hybrid format (in-person and virtual), ACAPI2026 provides a dynamic platform for global collaboration, knowledge exchange, and industry networking—connecting stakeholders committed to advancing a sustainable, resilient, and innovative agricultural future.

PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Specific Instructions to Authors
Please follow the formatting requirements below when preparing your manuscript:
● Margins Set margins to 1.5 inches (left) and 1 inch (top, right and bottom).
● Spacing and font: Use single spacing, Times New Roman, font size 12 throughout the manuscript.
● Length: Manuscripts must not exceed 15 pages, including references, attachments, tables and figures.
● File format: Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format (*.doc or .docx) only.
● Title: Use uppercase, bold, font size 14, and centered alignment.
● Author(s) information: Include the name(s), affiliation(s), email address(es), and contact number(s) of all authors,
formatted in Times New Roman, font size 12.
● Abstract: Should be between 250–350 words, formatted in Times New Roman, font size 12.
● Keywords: Provide no more than five (5) keywords following the abstract.
● Headings and Subheadings: Use uppercase, bold, font size 12, and align to the left margin.
● Tables and figures: Must be inserted within the text, not placed at the end of the manuscript. Titles must be placed
above the table or figure, written in Times New Roman, font size 12, bold, sentence case, and centred.
● References: Must appear at the end of the manuscript (before any appendices), arranged in alphabetical order,
and formatted according to the APA style.

PUBLICATION OPPORTUNITY:
i. Conference Proceeding
All accepted and registered abstracts will be published in the Conference e-Proceeding. The Conference Proceeding will be
published with an e-ISBN number
ii. Indexed (MyCite/ERA/WoS/Scopus) Publications
Selected papers will be published in MyCite/ERA/Wos/Scopus journals. Publication is subject to satisfactory revision of
papers as shall be required by the journal editors. Additional fee for publication will be required upon acceptance of paper.

1. Registration and submission of abstract, poster, full paper/camera-ready must be done electronically through the online submission system.
2. For First time user, click on the "Registration" menu to create ConfBay Account, and proceed for conference registration by logging in the system. For existing ConfBay user, proceed Login.
3. You must enter a valid email address. All notification will be sent via registered email.
4. If you wish to make submission, please register as "Presenter".
5. Click on "Online Submission" menu to submit your full paper / manuscript, and follow the procedure.
6. Before you proceed to register online, please ensure readiness of the following necessary documents:-
