The International Conference on Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences (AiDAS) is an annual conference organized by the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences, Universiti Teknologi MARA, Perak Branch, Malaysia. Now entering its seventh edition, AiDAS2026 continues to expand its academic and industry reach. This year, the conference is co-organized by the Institute for Tropical Biology and Conservation, Universiti Malaysia Sabah, and is technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Computer Society Malaysia Chapter.
Guided by the theme, “Foundations and Frontiers in Artificial Intelligence and Data Sciences: From Models to Meaning,” AiDAS2026 embraces a comprehensive vision of the AI and data science ecosystem—one that balances rigorous theoretical foundations with transformative real-world impact. The theme underscores the importance of advancing core methodologies while exploring emerging frontiers, ensuring that innovations in AI move beyond algorithms and models toward meaningful, responsible, and sustainable applications.
AiDAS2026 invites high-quality contributions that deepen theoretical understanding, introduce pioneering applications, and critically examine the ethical and societal dimensions of AI technologies. By connecting foundational rigor with frontier exploration, the conference seeks to advance research that not only demonstrates technical excellence but also generates tangible benefits for communities, industries, and policymakers. The conference will feature a comprehensive program of peer-reviewed research presentations, showcasing cutting-edge developments across diverse AI and data science domains. All submitted papers will undergo a rigorous peer review process conducted by esteemed experts, evaluated on originality, significance, technical quality, and clarity. Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion in IEEE Xplore database, subject to meeting its scope and quality requirements, and will be forwarded for indexing in Scopus.
