Conference and Exhibition on Biomedical and Advanced Materials Innovation 2026(BIOCAM2026)
Bertam Resort and Water Park, Penang
10 – 11th June 2026
Theme: "NIMP2030: Advancing Global Healthcare through Medical Device Innovation"
Under Malaysia’s New Industrial Master Plan (NIMP) 2030, the Advanced Materials and Medical Devices sectors are identified as strategic high-growth industries that will drive the nation’s industrial transformation and economic complexity. By promoting innovation, high-value manufacturing, and technology-intensive development, NIMP 2030 targets an increase in manufacturing value-added to RM587.5 billion by 2030 while enhancing productivity and median wage growth.
In alignment with these national priorities, the Conference and Exhibition on Biomedical and Advanced Materials Innovation 2026 (BIOCAM2026) serves as a vital platform to foster collaboration between researchers, industry leaders, policymakers, and healthcare professionals. The conference supports knowledge exchange, translational research, and commercialization pathways in biomedical and advanced materials, contributing directly to Malaysia’s ambition of becoming a regional hub for high-technology and medical device innovation.
The key targets and focus areas for these fields are as follows:
1. Biomaterials & Regenerative Medicine: Scaffolds, hydrogels, and bioactive materials for tissue repair.
2. Nanotechnology & Targeted Delivery: Nanomaterials for diagnostics, imaging, and therapy.
3. Smart Devices & Bio interfaces: Wearables, biosensors, and implantable systems.
4. Advanced Manufacturing & AI: 3D printing and data-driven materials design.
5. Safety & Translation: Biocompatibility, regulation, and clinical application pathways.
Publication Opportunities
Selected high-quality original research papers presented at the Conference and Exhibition on Biomedical and Advanced Materials Innovation 2026 (BIOCAM2026) will be considered for publication in the official conference proceedings. All submitted manuscripts will undergo a peer-review process to ensure scientific quality, originality, and relevance to the conference themes. The proceedings will serve as a platform to disseminate cutting-edge findings in biomedical and advanced materials research, providing authors with international visibility and opportunities for academic and industry recognition.
