THEME: Advancing Social Science Pathways for Sustainable Development and Inclusive Futures

The Creative Arts & Social Science International Conference 2026 (CASSIC 2026) is the second series designated conference collaborating creative arts and other social science in a larger scale which brings together academicians, researchers, and scholars to a conference. Along with the development of technology, the conference has re-aligned its focus by emphasizing the importance of creative development in the mainstream economy. The 1st series was conducted in Hotel Waterfront, Kuching, Sarawak on the 15-17 April 2025.

This year, a larger CASSIC brand in collaboration with the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB) and the Education Executive Committee of the Melaka State Government will be held at Hotel in Melaka, Malaysia. 

CASSIC is a non-profit event that provides delegates with opportunities to exchange new ideas and application experiences face-to-face, establish research relations, and find global partners for future collaboration.

Submitted conference papers will be reviewed by technical committees of the Conference. The conference targets 250 participants within various sections of the event, including research paper presentations, poster exhibitions, and academic and related industries workshops. Basically, participation will be obtained through collaboration with the local, private, and international universities for this second edition.


OBJECTIVE
1.    Provide a platform for exchange of ideas and information among researchers, academicians, and practitioners.
2.    Presentation of findings and issues on matters related to creative practices, management, sustainability of art and design via digitalization.


CONFERENCE SCOPES/SUB-THEMES
The organizing committee invites practitioners, academicians, researchers, PhD. candidates worldwide to submit full papers to CASSIC2026. This conference brings together avid researchers from local and foreign universities. Topics of interest for submission include, but not limited to:

Track 1: Lifelong Education and Inclusive Learning Futures
Focus: Education as a continuous, adaptive, and inclusive process across the life course.
Key Themes:
•    Lifelong learning, reskilling, and upskilling in changing societies
•    Digital, hybrid, and AI-supported learning environments
•    TVET, higher education reform, and learning–work transitions
•    Education for sustainability, citizenship, and human dignity

Track 2: Artificial Intelligence and Adaptation to Everyday Life
Focus: Human-centered integration of AI into social, cultural, and institutional contexts.
Key Themes:
•    AI ethics, governance, and human dignity
•    AI in education, healthcare, public services, and daily life
•    Algorithmic bias, digital inequality, and data justice
•    Human–AI collaboration, automation, and future skills
•    Societal adaptation to emerging technologies

Track 3: Sustainable Business, Economy, and Future Livelihoods
Focus: Economic systems and organizational practices that support sustainability and inclusion.
Key Themes:
•    Sustainable business models and ESG practices
•    Green, circular, and digital economies
•    Future of work, decent employment, and skills transformation
•    Social enterprises and inclusive economic development
•    Innovation, entrepreneurship, and policy for sustainable growth

The conference also welcomes submissions from other relevant areas within the topics listed above.

PAPER SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Specific Instructions to Authors
Please follow the formatting requirements below when preparing your manuscript:
●    Margins Set margins to 1.5 inches (left) and 1 inch (top, right and bottom).
●    Spacing and font: Use single spacing, Times New Roman, font size 12 throughout the manuscript.
●    Length: Manuscripts must not exceed 15 pages, including references, attachments, tables and figures.
●    File format: Submissions must be in Microsoft Word format (*.doc or .docx) only.
●    Title: Use uppercase, bold, font size 14, and centered alignment.
●    Author(s) information: Include the name(s), affiliation(s), email address(es), and contact number(s) of all authors, formatted in Times New Roman, font size 12.
●    Abstract: Should be between 250–350 words, formatted in Times New Roman, font size 12.
●    Keywords: Provide no more than five (5) keywords following the abstract.
●    Headings and Subheadings: Use uppercase, bold, font size 12, and align to the left margin.
●    Tables and figures: Must be inserted within the text, not placed at the end of the manuscript. Titles must be placed above the table or figure, written in Times New Roman, font size 12, bold, sentence case, and centered.
●    References: Must appear at the end of the manuscript (before any appendices), arranged in alphabetical order, and formatted according to the APA style.

All accepted and registered abstracts will be published in the Conference Proceedings. The Conference Proceedings will be published with an eISBN/ISSN Number.

ii.    Journal Publication
Authors of accepted papers will be invited to publish their full research articles in MyJurnal/MyCite/WOS/ERA/Scopus indexed journals. Publication is subject to satisfactory revision of papers as shall be required by the journal editors. Additional fee for publication will be required upon acceptance of paper.
