1.0 BACKGROUND
The International Islamic Business Management Conference (IBMC), organized by the Institute of Shariah Governance and Islamic Finance (ISGaIF), Islamic Business School (IBS), Universiti Utara Malaysia, has consistently provided a platform for scholars, researchers, and practitioners around the globe to engage in meaningful dialogue and exchange ideas on key issues within the field of Islamic business management. Building upon the success of previous iterations, including IBMC 2014, IBMC 2018, IBMC 2020, and IBMC 2022 each conference has contributed to the advancement of knowledge and practice in Islamic business management.
The upcoming IBMC 2024, scheduled to be held at the prestigious Bertam Resort in Penang, signifies the new chapter in this esteemed conference series. With a theme centered on "Empowering Halal Green Economy and Digitalisation Towards Maqasid Shariah", IBMC2024 aims to delve into significant issues at the intersection of Islamic principles, environmental sustainability, and technological innovation.
The continuity of the IBMC series underscores its significance as a catalyst for academic collaboration and knowledge dissemination in the field of Islamic business management. As it continues to evolve, IBMC remains committed to promoting scholarly excellence, fostering international networks, and driving innovation in Islamic business research and practice.
2.0 PUBLICATION
All accepted papers have the opportunity to be published as a
chapter in book (subject to the
authors consent).
In addition, selected papers will be published in the Indexed journals from UUM and other
journals deemed suitable based on the research areas and pending reviewers
comments, among others (subject to approval from the editors).
