The International Conference of Advanced Applied Sciences & Sustainability is organised by Centre of Excellence In Wood Engineered Products (CeWEP), Centre for Continuing Education and Professional Development (CEPD) and School of Engineering Technology (SET), University of Technology Sarawak and in collaboration with Sarawak Timber Industry Development Corporation (STIDC), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Cawangan Sarawak, and IMAN Excellence Center. It will be held on 6th – 7th August 2025 in Kuching, Sarawak, Malaysia. This conference provides lots of networking opportunities to scholars, professors and practitioners for corporate and development sectors. The scope of this conference is broad and covers many aspects of international technology perspectives. This conference aims to provide scholarly platform to participants to share their valuable knowledge and current information with others. This platforms cover all tracks of applied science, engineering, technology and sustainability.
HYBRID CONFERENCE MODE
In order to provide participants more flexibility, we offer the option to attend in-person onsite or virtual/online via our dedicated conference virtual platform.
1) ONSITE PRESENTATION
(PAPER)
Presenters are required to attend in-person onsite and make 10-15 minutes presentations (including Q & A).
(POSTER)
Presenters are required to do on-site poster presentation for 10-15 minutes (including Q&A). The poster shall be A1 size.
2) VIRTUAL PRESENTATION
i. Live Presentation: Presenters are required to attend in-person online and make 10-12 minutes
presentations (including Q & A).
ii. Video Recording: Presenters are required to record video within 5 - 8 minutes presentation.
On conference days, presenters are not required to be on standby. No video presentation will
be played, and no Q&A session.

PAPER PREPARATION:

The manuscript should be 10 to 15 pages long, including references.
It must be written in English and adhere to a high standard of language quality.
International collaboration or authorship is strongly encouraged.
Submit the paper in Word format.
Include the author’s name and affiliation, including the full address and country.
Do not include page numbers, headers, or footers in the manuscript.
Ensure all pages are in portrait orientation (rotate any landscape content).
Place figures within the text rather than collecting them at the end of the document.
Perform a thorough proofread to ensure clarity, conciseness, and adherence to language standards.
Authors are required to strictly adhere to manuscript format and submit their manuscript via the ConfBay platform.
POSTER PREPARATION
Participants are encouraged to showcase their research creatively using their own poster designs. While no specific template is provided, please adhere to the following guidelines:
Poster Dimensions: Standard size of **A1 (594 mm x 841 mm)* in portrait orientation.
Content*: Include the following sections clearly:
*Title*: Bold and easy to read from a distance.
*Authors and Affiliations*: List all contributors and their institutions.
*Introduction/Objective*: Summarize the purpose of your research.
*Methodology*: Briefly outline your approach.
*Results*: Use visuals like charts, graphs, and images to present data effectively.
*Conclusion*: Highlight the key findings and significance.
*Acknowledgements and References*: Include if applicable.
Design:
Use a clean and professional layout.
Ensure all text is legible from at least 1 meter away (font size ~24pt or larger for body text).
Avoid clutter and maintain a balance between text and visuals.
Publication:
All accepted papers will be published in Scopus proceeding or MYCITE Journal.
Selected and paid papers will be published in the listed SCOPUS journals with additional charges;
