INTRODUCTION

The 2nd International Conference on Science, Engineering and Technology 2022 (ICSET2022) is the second international conference to be organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology, Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP). The first edition of this conference was successfully held in the year 2020 attracted almost 200 author submissions nationwide. The primary focus of this conference is to provide a platform to professionals, researchers, academicians and industries to share and generate interest in cutting-edge applications, challenges and issues in the area of engineering technology encompasses several topics in mechanical, manufacturing, industrial engineering, chemical, electrical, electronic and civil.

This year’s conference with “Energizing Sustainable Future” theme will offer combination of several new tracks focusing on advances in mechanical & materials, electrical, electronics & computer engineering, civil & environmental, chemical engineering & biotechnology and manufacturing & industrial engineering. The diversification benefits the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Technology since the conference theme can be expanded to include a broader range of engineering disciplines. Thus, it is expected to increase the number of participants that can attend the conference.
