Advancing Science, Engineering, and Technology for a Sustainable and Resilient Future
The International Conference on Science, Engineering, and Technology (ICSET) is an annual international conference organized by different faculties at UniMAP. This edition of conferences is unique, as each faculty at UniMAP has the opportunity to host the event in turn. The first series of ICSET was organized by the Faculty of Engineering Technology, UniMAP on February 27, 2020, at Rainbow Paradise Beach Hotel, Pulau Pinang. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, ICSET was unable to be organized in 2021. The conference series resumed in 2022 and 2023, organized by the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering & Technology and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering & Technology, respectively. In 2024, it was organized by Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology in Bandung, Indonesia. Last year, in 2025, the Faculty of Electronic Engineering & Technology was responsible for organizing the 5th ICSET in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah.
In 2026, the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering & Technology is responsible for organizing the 6th International Conference on Science, Engineering, and Technology (ICSET) 2026, focusing on transforming technology toward a sustainable future. The aim is to provide a platform for professionals, researchers, academicians, and industries to share and generate interest in cutting-edge applications, challenges, and issues in engineering technology, encompassing several tracks focusing on advances in mechanical and materials, electrical, electronics, and computer engineering, as well as advances in civil and environmental engineering, chemical engineering, biotechnology, and food technology. The selection of this year's conference theme underscores the contemporary issues of sustainability and green technology within industry, resonating with the ongoing developments in engineering technology.
Publication: The participants will have the opportunity to submit their manuscripts to the journal indexed by Scopus.
