INTRODUCTION
The 4th IFRC 2026 will feature research presentations, discussions in plenary sessions, poster presentations, as well as panel discussion sessions related to the field of food research. The plenary sessions and panel discussions will be joined by renowned experts from both local and international backgrounds. In addition, the 4th IFRC 2026 will also host pre-conference events comprising several concurrent pre-conference workshops in the fields of food science, food technology, and food services. The 4th IFRC 2026 will provide opportunities for meetings and the sharing of experiences among scientists, researchers, academics, entrepreneurs, industry experts, policymakers, government agencies, local and international non-governmental organisations (NGOs), as well as undergraduate and postgraduate students in the field of food. Selected papers are invited to submit full manuscript to International Food Research Journal (science and technology) and International Food Insights Journal (social science) subjected to article processing fees.

Submission Format
Abstract Format
To submit your abstract, it is mandatory to register as a participant for the conference. Before submitting your abstract, carefully review and adhere to the guidelines provided below:
• The abstract should be composed in British English and serve as an informative summary of the research work.
• Font Type: Arial
• Font Sizes:
• Title: 14.0 point
• Authors’ List: 12.0 point
• Affiliations: 10.5 point
• Corresponding Author’s Email: 10.5 point
• Main Text of Abstract: 12.0 point
• Keywords: 12.0 point
• Single-line spacing is required, aligned left, except for the body of the abstract, which should be justified. Margins for left,
right, top, and bottom should be 2.54 cm (1 inch).
• All abstracts should follow the structured format; with the subheadings of Introduction, Methods,
Results and Conclusion. Bold the subheadings.
• The abstract should not exceed 300 words.
• Expand any abbreviations or acronyms in their full term upon first use, unless they are standard units of measurement.
• Exclude references in the abstract.
• Include a maximum of 5 keywords aiding cross-indexing of the article.
Poster Format
Physical poster:
Poster dimension: A1 (594 mm width × 1189 mm height), portrait orientation.
Title and Authors: Should be similar to the accepted abstract.
Visuals: Text size should be readable from a distance of 5 feet.
Presentation Session: All presentation must be delivered in English. The presence of author/s will be required during the allocated poster judging session.
Virtual poster:
The poster should be a clear visual presentation of your submitted abstract and should meet the following criteria:
Title of the Poster: It is recommended to keep the title of the poster the same as in the submitted abstract. Slight modification, which does not change the idea of the abstract, is also allowed.
Poster Size and Format:
• The poster must be submitted in PDF format.
• Recommended poster size: 1280 × 720 pixels, optimised for online viewing using a landscape orientation (16:9 ratio).
• A poster should contain the following sections:
o Title, authors, and institution(s)
o Abstract
o Materials and Methods
o Results and Discussion
o Conclusion
o Acknowledgement
o References
Your Information:
• The name of the PDF document should contain the IFRC ID and the name of the presenter.
• E.g.: 117-043 John, D.
• Please put your IFRC ID on the top right corner of the poster.
