Call for Papers

All honorable authors are kindly encouraged to contribute to and help shape the conference through submissions of their research abstracts and papers. Also, high quality research contributions describing original and unpublished results of conceptual, constructive, empirical, experimental, or theoretical work in all areas of Halal Management are cordially invited for presentation at the conference. The conference solicits contributions of abstracts and papers that address themes and topics of the conference, including figures, tables and references of novel research materials.

Empowering Halal Industry Towards Globalization

The International Halal Management Conference (IHMC) is one of the conferences aimed at branding Universiti Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) through the Faculty of Economics and Muamalat (FEM), and it is held biennially. This conference highlights areas relevant to the halal industry, reflecting the multidisciplinary nature of knowledge and the opportunities for applying halal principles in various economic and social aspects.

This conference is organized as a catalyst to transform and voice policy views, strategies, and action plans based on Shariah principles and halal laws with the aim of elevating Malaysia’s presence on the global stage. In addition, the conference is expected to harness all resources and expertise from both academia and practitioners to establish strong collaboration in disseminating information on the opportunities and potential of the global halal industry. Indirectly, it also helps to identify factors, methods, innovations, and strategies that can enhance the quality of products and services based on the halal industry.

•    All submitted papers are subjected to ERA journal indexed reviewing process with additional cost.
