7th INTERNATIONAL ISLAMIC HERITAGE CONFERENCE (ISHEC) 2027

HYBRID CONFERENCE

The Academy of Contemporary Islamic Studies, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Melaka, will host the 7th International Islamic Heritage Conference (ISHEC) 2027 under the theme “Malaysia MADANI: Preserving Islamic Heritage in the Digital and Global Era”.

Local and international researchers and scholars are invited to submit original, unpublished papers in English, Malay or Arabic for presentation at this hybrid conference. All submissions will undergo peer review before a decision on acceptance is made.

The primary aim of ISHEC 2027 is to strengthen academic dialogue and research collaboration on Islamic heritage and culture. Its objectives include encouraging the dissemination of high-quality research, promoting cultural understanding, supporting interdisciplinary approaches to Islamic studies, and providing opportunities for participants to network with international scholars. The conference also seeks to showcase research findings and deepen understanding of the historical, social, cultural and educational dimensions of the Islamic world.
