The 1st International Webinar on Islamic Studies and Civilisation (IWISC2021) is organized by Academy of Islamic Civilisation, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, UTM which will be held on 29th June 2021. This conference is to provide a platform to researchers and academicians in Islamic studies and civilization field to share and present their research finding as well as exchange their knowledge with others while publishing good quality research paper on their research.
The halal industry plays an important role in the economy today. This is seen through the development of the halal industry at the national and international levels. There are various latest innovations that encourage the development of the halal industry in terms of food and beverages, clothing, home appliances and so on. In fact, there are macro developments related to the halal economy such as tourism and economic management. This matter is also associated with the development of Islamic-based studies such as halal management, muamalat, syariah, hadith and fiqh which lead to the development of knowledge and debate related to halal.

Registration and submission of Full Paper must be done electronically through the online submission system.

Format / Full Paper Template
1. All articles must contain the title, name and complete information (institution address, email, mobile phone / office and fax number) of each author.
2. Each article must contain a title and an abstract. The manuscript, written in Malay or Arabic must be accompanied by an abstract and title in English. Abstract length is not more than 200 words including 5 keywords.
3. The length of each article should not exceed 6000 words, or about 12 pages.
4. All article references (in text and bibliography) must be in Chicago style.
5. All manuscripts must be written in MS Word with the following specifications: Font: Times New Roman, size 12 (only tables and figures can use size 8); Margin: 2.54 cm or 1 inch; Spacing: single spacing and justified.
6. Quoted passages of the Quran and / or Hadith texts in English and Malay manuscripts must be placed as a translation of the original Arabic text. References in the text; for example, (Quran, 2: 255). Hadith text; for example, (Sahih al-Bukhari, verse 3, p. 123).
7. References must be numbered.
8. Article writing must meet the requirements of general standards that usually contain the introduction / statement of problems, literature review, methodology, research findings and conclusions.
