BACKGROUND
Institute of Engineering Mathematics (IMK), Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) in collaboration with Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics, Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT) are pleased to announce the �2nd Joint International Conference on Mathematics, Statistics and Engineering (J-CoMSE 2024)� on 17-18 September 2024 in Universiti Malaysia Terengganu Convention Centre (UMTCC), Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia. The first series of this conference has been successfully run by 2021 and the conference proceeding has been indexed by SCOPUS. For 2024, this conference will be held in physical and virtual modes (HYBRID). The aim is to bring together academic scientists, researchers and research scholars to exchange their knowledge in Mathematics, Statistics, Sciences and Engineering.

KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
PROF. DR. ABDUL WAHAB ABDUL RAHMAN
(Professor, International Islamic University Malaysia)
Professor Abdul Wahab started his career with Hewlett Packard Singapore as a production engineer and R&D Project Manager since 1982. He has worked in Singapore and Colorado, USA prior to joining the faculty member of Nanyang Technological University, Singapore in 1990. In 2009, he joined the Kulliyyah of Information and Communication Technology (KICT), International Islamic University, Malaysia (IIUM). Presently he is the dean of KICT, IIUM until 2021. Professor Abdul Wahab had published more than 300 conferences, Journal, patent and book chapters in areas of digital and optical computing, signal processing, Artificial Intelligence, and Neuroscience and Computing. His area of expertise covers digital system design based on reconfigurable logics, signal and speech analysis, and fuzzy neural networks. His current research is in the areas of understanding and analyzing brain developmental disorder using the EEG and ECG as neuro-cardio signals modeling (NCM) of the brain and the heart. Professor Abdul Wahab was also the board member of Mercy Relief Singapore (MRS) from 2003 to 2015 and was the vice chairman from 2008 to 2012. In 2008 he received the Friends and goodwill award from the Singapore SOKA Association for humanitarian contribution and a long service award from the Ministry of Community Development and Sports (MCDS) in 2004. He was also the Winner of the Rotary � ITE Alumni Professional Achievement Award in 2003. Professor Abdul Wahab was the advisor to the Singapore Malay Chamber of commerce (1989 � 1993). As chairman and supervisor to the IRSYAD School, Singapore, (1996 � 2000), he transforms the school to a more English speaking, science educated students. He was also the Council member of Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (MUIS), (1997 � 2004). In 1993 to 1994 Professor Abdul Wahab was the Consultant to OMNI DESIGN Singapore Pte. Ltd, for the design, development and project management of an ergonomic keyboards and a 3D pointing device and in 1994 � 1999, he was the Chairman to Technical Committee review SS337: 1989 - safety of information technology equipment including business equipment (TC 118/4/8R), SISIR, Singapore. He is presently the advisor to the NeuroCoach Digital Lab (NDL) at IIUM and his present active research involved:
- Identifying children with Learning disorder using Neuro-Physiological Interface (NPI).
- Analysing addicts� behaviour after intervention based on EEG and ECG signals analysis (NCM).
- Visualizing human emotional states/Stress analysis under various conditions.
- Predicting the occurrence of epileptic seizure, Computational Neuro-Morphological (CNM) model.
- Analysing and profiling driver behaviour Through Cardio-Cognitive Modelling (CCM).
- Long term effect of post-traumatic syndrome disorder (PTSD) after Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).
- Creating new feature extraction method in measuring and analysing neuro-physiological signals.
- Psychological instruments correlation using Computational Neuro-Physiological (CNP) model.
- Brain Analytics for Neuro-Feedback (NFB) based on Morphological and Affective domain.
In this conference, Professor Abdul Wahab will talk about "Mental Well-Being and intervention based on AI brain Analytics".
EN. MOHD REDZUAN ABDUL RAHMAN
(Head of Petroleum Engineering & Data Solutions, AEM Energy Solutions Sdn Bhd)
En. Mohd Redzuan is a seasoned professional with 21 years of expertise in the oil and gas industry, specializing in well operations and data management. He began his career as a Field Engineer with Dimension Bid, spending 13 years mastering well services and cased hole logging operations across Malaysia, Indonesia, and Thailand. During this time, he became an expert in well services, cased logging operation, pressure transient analysis and cased hole log interpretation. Transitioning to an office role, he has served as a Senior Petroleum Engineer at PETRONAS for two years, overseeing sub-surface operations and reservoir management surveillance for Sabah oil and gas fields. He then switched to the digitalization domain by joining AEM Energy Solutions as a Data Analytics Engineer, where he led software development initiatives and became a Subject Matter Expert. Since 2022, he has been the Head of Petroleum Engineering & Data Solutions at AEM, overseeing team development and spearheading digitalization and data analytic efforts in petroleum engineering & data management. His career showcases his commitment to excellence and innovation in the oil and gas sector.

- The number of pages are between 6-12 pages.
- Paper size is European A4.
- Margins are 4cm (top), 2.5cm (left and right) and 2.7cm (bottom).
- The paper includes the author name and affiliation (full address including country).
- There are no page numbers, or headers and footers, within the paper.
- The PDF is free of formatting errors (e.g. corrupt equations, missing or low-resolution figures), since conversion from Word to PDF can introduce formatting errors.
- Text is single spaced, not double spaced.
- The PDF file is editable and not password protected.
- All pages are portrait (landscape pages should be rotated).
- Reference lists are checked for accuracy. References can only be linked via Crossref if they are correct and complete.
- Figures are placed within the text, not collected at the end of the document.
- A thorough proofread is conducted to check the standard of English and ensure wording is clear and concise.
