The 16th International Conference on Knowledge and Systems Engineering (KSE 2024)

Eastin Hotel Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
5 - 7  November 2024 (Hybrid)

THEME:
Orchestrating Wisdom with Knowledge Engineering, Retrieval and Intelligence

BACKGROUND:
The 16th IEEE International Conference on Knowledge and Systems Engineering (KSE 2024)  will be held from 5 - 7 November 2024. The main objectives of the conference is to bring together researchers, practitioners, and students not only for the presentation, discussion, and exchange of state-of-the-art research and practical applications but also to foster collaboration in the fields. KSE 2024 this year will be held in Kuala Lumpur, the capital city of Malaysia, which is renowned for its multiculturalism with many cultural sites and activities.

KSE 2024 are co-organised by the Information Retrieval and Knowledge Management Society (Persatuan Capaian Maklumat dan Pengurusan Pengetahuan, PECAMP) Malaysia and the VNU University of Engineering and Technology (VNU-UET), endorsed by the Japan Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (JAIST), and technically co-sponsored by the IEEE Malaysia Section Chapter. These premier international conference, comprising three days of full paper presentations of new research findings and tutorials, welcome contributions in the fields of information retrieval, knowledge management, computational linguistics, knowledge and systems engineering, and related areas.

Accepted papers will be submitted to IEEE for inclusion in IEEE Xplore and other abstracting and indexing databases. Previous KSE and CAMP conference proceedings have been included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and Scopus databases. Selected papers have the potential to be invited to submit extended versions to be published in renowned journals.

OBJECTIVE:

  1. An opportunity to present and share research results, ideas and concepts for the mutual benefit of a variety of stakeholders
  2. Build networks and collaboration opportunities with fellow researchers in academia, industry practitioners and research scholars
  3. Publish research findings and conceptual ideas in journals and proceedings that have a significant impact on various stakeholders in dealing with the various current issues in the various fields of social sciences
  4. For students and researchers, this conference opportunity can provide added value to the research being conducted in terms of literature, methodology and research strategy and receive critical responses and feedback from experts in their respective fields.

CALL FOR PAPERS:
This premier international conference, comprising three days of full-paper presentations of new research findings and tutorials, welcomes contributions in the fields of information retrieval, knowledge management, computational linguistics, knowledge and systems engineering, and related areas. Accepted papers will be submitted to IEEE for inclusion in IEEE Xplore and other abstracting and indexing databases. The previous KSE conference proceedings have been included in the IEEE Xplore Digital Library and Scopus databases. IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (i.e., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.
