DIGITAL POSTER COMPETITION
IN CONJUNCTION WITH
MUZAKARAH ISLAMIC DIGITAL FINANCE (MIDF) 2025
The Muzakarah Islamic Digital Finance 2025 (MIDF 2025) is a prestigious flagship event organized by the Faculty of Muamalat and Islamic Finance, Tuanku Syed Sirajuddin International Islamic University (FMKI UNISIRAJ) in collaboration with the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM), Association of Shariah Advisors in Islamic Finance (ASAS) and other strategic partners from academia and the Islamic finance industry.
Scheduled to be held on 31st July 2025 at Hotel Seri Malaysia, Kangar, Perlis, this high-impact international event will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, academicians, and financial technology experts to discuss and advance the landscape of Shariah-compliant digital finance. The event will also feature the International Islamic Digital Finance Poster Competition, encouraging innovation, creativity, and research excellence in Islamic finance.
With the theme “Advancing Shariah-Compliant Digital Finance: Innovation, Ethics, and Inclusion,” MIDF 2025 aims to serve as a premier platform for driving the growth of Islamic digital finance in an era of rapid technological advancement and global digital transformation.

Registration and Submission Information:
a. Registration and submission of Full Paper must be done electronically through this online
submission system.
• Click on the "Registration" menu to create ConfBay Account and proceed for conference
registration by logging in the system.
• Click on "Online Submission" menu to submit your abstract(s) / Full Paper / Poster.
b. Full Paper / Poster Format - Strictly follow the template which can be downloaded
at the Download section
Additional Submission Guideline
1. If select Muzakarah only
Go to abstract, select as participant/delegate/Listener
2. If select Muzakarah + Poster
Go to abstract, select as presenter/author
Participants must first submit an abstract, then proceed to submit their Full Paper via the
"Full Paper Submission / Poster Submission" menu. Following this, the poster should be submitted
through the "Camera-ready Paper Submission / Poster Submission" menu.
📢 Please be informed:
• There will be no physical presentation during Muzakarah Islamic Digital Finance on 31st July 2025.
• However, the Digital Poster Presentation Showcase will be held during the event for public viewing.
• All participants in the Digital Poster Competition will be recognized as official participants of MIDF 2025..
POSTER REQUIREMENT
• Layout: Must be in Landscape format.
• Size: A1 digital format (594 mm x 841 mm).
• Resolution: Minimum 300 DPI (dots per inch) for clear display.
• File Format: Submit in PDF or JPEG/PNG with high resolution.
• MIDF 2025 logo to be put on the above left side of the poster.
• The institution logo (if available) is to be put on the above right side of the poster.
• Full project title.
• Name of the institution(s) represented.
• Affiliation and picture of all project members at the bottom of the poster.
Poster content
The poster should cover all key aspects of the work and contain the following items, where applicable:
1. Objective in Innovation & creativity
• The goal in showing ideas that focusing on the problem solving, relevant to the current needs/situation.
2. Method & Functionality
• Specific method or process that involves generating and implementing new ideas, or solutions
to address challenges or create value.
3. Uniqueness
• Is the product/innovation could save time and cost, increase productivity and easy to use?
4. Presentable
• The poster should be creative, catchy, clear and brief.
Guidelines for Poster Presentation Using YouTube
1. Video Preparation
• Ensure your video is clear and concise (recommended duration: 5-10 minutes).
• The presentation must be original and prepared by the participant.
• Include a voice-over explanation of your poster content.
• Use high-quality visuals and readable fonts.
• Ensure your presentation is structured: Introduction → Content → Conclusion.
2. Uploading to YouTube
• Sign in to your YouTube account.
• Click Create (Camera Icon) → Upload Video.
• Select your video file and add a suitable title and description.
3. Privacy Settings
• Under Visibility, choose "Private".
• Click "Share Privately" and add the email: midf@UNISIRAJ.edu.my.
4. Originality & Copyright Compliance
• The presentation must be entirely original and created by the participant.
• Using copyrighted materials, including videos, images, or background music without
permission, is strictly prohibited.
• If any copyrighted content is detected, the submission will be disqualified.
• You may use royalty-free resources (e.g., Unsplash for images, YouTube Audio
Library for music).
• Cite any external references properly.
5. Generating and Embedding QR Code
• Copy your YouTube video link after uploading.
• Use a QR code generator (e.g., QR Code Monkey, QRStuff).
• Download and place the QR code on your poster for easy access.
6. Poster Design Recommendations
• Ensure the QR code is clearly visible and labeled.
• Include a short description: “Scan the QR code to watch the presentation.”
• Keep your poster clear, professional, and well-organized.
