The Genetics Society of Malaysia is proud to host the 16th edition of its biennial congress, centered on the theme �Genetics and AI: Shaping the Future of Sustainable Innovations�. This highly anticipated event will delve into the transformative potential of genetics and artificial intelligence in driving sustainable innovation. The congress will feature three dedicated tracks, each focused on critical domains where these fields converge to unlock ground-breaking solutions. From enhancing agricultural productivity and biodiversity conservation to advancing personalized medicine and sustainable resource management, this event will bring together experts, researchers, policymakers, practitioners and industry leaders. We invite you to join us in exploring cutting-edge research, sharing innovative solutions, and fostering collaborations that will harness the power of genetics and AI to create a more sustainable future.

CALL FOR PAPER
The Congress cordially invites academics, practitioners, scholars, researchers, policy makers of any government agencies to present their oral or poster papers in MiGC16. Please submit your abstract online http://submit.confbay.com/conf/migc16 or email the registration form to Congress Secretariat secretariat.migc@gmail.com. All submitted abstract/papers will be blind reviewed by our scientific reviewers. Authors of accepted abstracts are required to submit a full paper consisting of a paper title, author(s) list, address and e-mail, abstract, introduction, methodology, results and discussion, conclusion, acknowledgement and references. The manuscript should be prepared using Times New Roman with font size 12. The manuscript should be written in not more than 15 pages, single-spaced (maybe word count is better) including tables and figures.

To expose our young minds to scientific cultures, we encourage the participation from postgraduate students all over the world to present their research projects in this Congress with their registration fee discounted. CONGRESS TRACK:

MEDICINE & HEALTH SCIENCES
The Medicine & Health Sciences track will focus on how AI is revolutionizing the field of genetics in clinical diagnostics, personalized medicine, and public health. AI-powered algorithms are increasingly used to analyze vast genomic datasets, uncovering patterns and insights that were previously inaccessible. By integrating AI with genetic data, researchers can develop personalized treatment plans, predict disease risk, and tailor therapies to individual genetic profiles. For example, AI-driven analysis has proven effective in identifying specific cancer subtypes and predicting patient responses to treatments, enabling more precise and targeted healthcare interventions.

FOOD & AGRICULTURE
The Food & Agriculture track will explore the transformative impact of AI on genetic research aimed at enhancing sustainable food production. AI models, when applied to genomic data, can accelerate the breeding of crops with desired traits such as higher yield, improved pest and disease resistance, and better nutritional content. ANIMALS, MICROBES, & OTHERS
This track will delve into the innovative use of AI in genetic research across various domains, including microbiology and animal sciences. AI technologies are enhancing our ability to decode complex genetic information in these fields, leading to breakthroughs in conservation genetics, veterinary medicine, and microbial ecology. AI-driven genetic analysis can aid in preserving endangered species by identifying critical genetic traits, improving animal breeding programs, and understanding microbial interactions that affect health and ecosystems. These advancements demonstrate the potential of AI to unlock new frontiers in genetics, driving innovation and sustainability across diverse biological systems.

Specific Instructions to Authors
�    Margin � Manuscripts must be in single spacing, font size 12 in Times New Roman and all margins: 1.5 inches (left) and 1 inch (top, right and bottom).
�    Length � Manuscripts are maximum 15 pages (including references, attachments, tables and graphical information).
�    Tables � must be placed as part of the text. DO NOT attach tables at the end of the manuscript.
�    Software � Manuscript must be submitted in MS Word form ONLY.
�    Title � Written in uppercase, bold, size 14 and centered.
�    Author/s � Name, address, email and contact number of all authors, font 12, Times New Roman.
�    Abstract � between 250-350 words �Times New Roman� size 12.
�    Keywords � should not more than FIVE keywords.
�    Title/sub-title � Written in uppercase, bold, size 12 and left margin.
�    Tables/ Figures � title of the tables/figure should be written on the top of the tables/figure. Times New Roman, font 12, Bold, lower case, centered.
�    Reference � Should be in the last part of the article (before any attachments/appendixes), in alphabetical order, according to American Psychological Association (APA) style.
