BACKGROUND
We are pleased to announce that the Malaysian Society for Biochemistry & Molecular Biology will be organizing the 46th Annual Conference of the Malaysian Society for Biochemistry and Molecular Biology (MSBMB46) via physical and online on 24-25 August 2022 (Wednesday-Thursday) in Bangi Resort Hotel, Selangor, Malaysia.
This 2-day conference will address the current and latest advances in various biochemistry and molecular biology activities and its achievements. The conference will provide opportunities and gather practitioners, researchers, academicians and students to network and to share their latest knowledge, experience and achievements in related fields with the prospect of fostering new partnerships, collaborations and joint projects.
On behalf of the organizing committee of MSBMB46, we would like to invite you and your organization to participate whether as presenter or participant in this coming conference.
The theme of this year's conference is “Advancement of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in the Digital Era”. We hope the conference will be a great success and an enjoyable experience for all participants. We look forward to meeting you at the event in August.

MSBMB Annual Conference Fellowship
This fellowship covers the costs of the registration fee (member / student rate) to participate at the Annual MSBMB Conference.
Criteria for the MSBMB Annual Conference Fellowship:
• The applicant should be a registered PhD candidate or early career biochemist or molecular biologist (not more than 5 years after graduation)
• The applicant must be a paid-up member of MSBMB.
• The applicant has submitted an application by the due date, providing all requested information and documentation.
• Preference will be given to those applicants who have not previously received an MSBMB Annual Conference Fellowship.
Note: The recipient of this award is required to submit a report to the Honorary Secretary of MSBMB (pbbmms@gmail.com) within 6 months of obtaining the award.
Please send the fellowship application to the Honorary Secretary of MSBMB (pbbmms@gmail.com) before 15th June 2022.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Abstract Submission
The conference cordially invites scientist, academics, practitioners, scholars, researchers, policy makers and individuals to present their oral or poster papers in MSBMB46. Please register and submit your abstract via online to:

All submitted abstracts will be blind reviewed by our scientific reviewers. Authors will be notified by notice of abstract acceptance/rejection within 1 month after submission.
The conference welcomes the submission of original contributions for oral and poster presentations on the following topics, and related areas:

Instruction for authors:
Each participant is limited to ONE paper as the presenting author but may co-author other papers.
1. Abstract must be in English and not exceed 250 words.
2. Abstract should be single-spaced, in Times New Roman font size 12.
3. Abstract should be submitted in Microsoft word .doc or .docx format.
4. Abstract should consist of a title (capitalized, bold), full name of author(s), affiliation of author(s), and body of abstract.
5. Provide up to 5 keywords.
6. Presenting author’s name should be in bold.
7. Corresponding author should be indicated with an asterisk (*) and the email provided.
8. Affiliations and orresponding author email should be in font 11.
Incorrectly formatted submissions or those requiring English editing will be returned to the submitting author for amendments prior to acceptance.
