National Financial Literacy Symposium 2026
(NFLS2026)

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia

October 2026

Theme: Financial Literacy and Well-being

In October, the Financial Education Network (FEN) will host the National Financial Literacy Symposium (NFLS) 2026 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. This symposium aims to bring together leading academicians, scholars, researchers and industry experts to share knowledge, present innovative ideas and discuss the latest developments in financial literacy.

In addition, the symposium will provide excellent opportunities for academicians and industry professionals to showcase their work, engage in meaningful discussions and network with local and international participants.

As part of NFLS 2026, a Call for Papers will be launched to invite scholarly contributions and research insights that address financial literacy challenges and opportunities. This initiative seeks contributions from academicians and researchers to enrich discussions on financial education, behavioural insights, policy development and digital solutions.

Accepted papers will be presented during the symposium, providing authors with visibility among policymakers, educators, and financial industry leaders. The goal is to foster actionable insights and collaborative strategies to strengthen financial literacy nationwide.
