The Semarak Conference on Engineering Research and Applications (SCERA 2025) will be held virtually from 19–21 August 2025, providing an interactive platform for engineers, researchers, academics, and industry professionals to share recent advancements, practical applications, and future directions in engineering and technology.
Organized by Semarak Ilmu Sdn. Bhd., this online conference promotes interdisciplinary collaboration and the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge across diverse engineering disciplines. SCERA 2025 invites contributions that highlight innovative approaches, novel designs, and impactful engineering solutions that address real-world challenges and contribute to sustainable development.
The conference will feature virtual oral presentations, with the flexibility of pre-recorded submissions, enabling participants from across the globe to showcase their research, foster dialogue, and build professional networks.
To acknowledge outstanding scholarly work, Best Presentation Awards – Gold, Silver, and Bronze – will be presented to top presenters based on originality, technical depth, and relevance. Full award criteria will be available on the official conference website.

- Clarity and Coherence: Manuscripts should be well-written, organized, and easily understandable to readers. (10 marks)
- Methodological Rigor: We value research that adheres to sound scientific methods and approaches. (20 marks)
- Significance and Impact: Manuscripts should demonstrate the potential to make a meaningful contribution to the academic community and beyond. (20 marks)
- Relevance to the Theme: Submissions should align closely with the theme of our competition to ensure relevance and coherence. (15 marks)
