The Quran, as divine revelation, has served as the fundamental foundation for the development of a remarkable Islamic civilisation. The internalisation of the maqasid al-Quran plays a vital role in ensuring societal well-being, strengthening social justice, and supporting the holistic development of individuals. In facing global challenges such as extremism, digital revolution, and socio-political shifts, a Quran-based approach is increasingly essential in shaping an inclusive, progressive, and resilient civil society. Therefore, the 10th Conference on Quran as Foundation of Civilization (SWAT 2025) is organised as an intellectual platform that brings together scholars, researchers, and educators to discuss contemporary issues related to the maqasid al-Quran and the evolving methods of Quranic instruction. This seminar aims to generate new insights aligned with current societal needs, formulate Quran-based solutions to global challenges, and reinforce the central role of the Quran in civilisational and societal development. It is hoped that the outcomes of this seminar will serve as a valuable reference in realising the vision of a dynamic and prosperous ummah guided by the teachings of the Quran.
