INTRODUCTION

The SME World Forum Kuala Lumpur 2024 will bring together thought leaders, entrepreneurs, policy-makers, academics and researchers from allied disciplines, to share insights and collaborate on strategies that drive innovation and sustainable growth of MSMEs.This Forum also aims to address some of the important issues impacting sustainable growth and development of MSMEs including entrepreneurship education, innovation, energy transition, ESG adoption, digitization & AI.


The Forum will target five key segments: private sector companies & policy-makers, academics and researchers, women entrepreneurs, youth and micros/ informal sector, with a special reference to the oil, gas & energy industry in Malaysia.

As part of the forum, there will be a special academic track on Day 3 (29November), jointly chaired by MILA University and Universiti Malaysia Kelantan. We are excited to invite you to join a global network of leading researchers and academics as we explore ideas to drive innovative and sustainable growths of MSMEs. All accepted papers presented may elect to have their paper published in the Scopus indexed Book Chapter by Springer for an additional USD300.

Publication opportunity and related fee:

The costs listed above do not cover publication in the Scopus index. Publication opportunity: All accepted papers presented may elect to have their paper published in the Scopus indexed Book Chapter by Springer for an additional USD300.You must select the category with the "Scopus publication" add-on in the ConfManage system in order to publish your work in a publication that is indexed by Scopus.

**Additionally, high-quality papers will have the opportunity to be published in both special and regular issues of the following journals:

1. Please note that the inclusion of a publication in the Scopus index is optional and will only occur after receiving a notification of acceptance from our Esteemed Scientific Editorial Team. If participants choose not to publish their work with us, they are advised not to submit the copyright form and should inform our committee via email.
2. The selected papers for the aforementioned nine journals will be independently reviewed by our Scientific Editorial Team and their acceptance will be solely based on their evaluation. If chosen, the author will be contacted and instructed to submit their paper according to a specific procedure established by the journal in the list.
