CALL FOR PAPERS
INNOFEST 2026
INNOFEST 2026 invites academic staff, researchers, practitioners, and interested individuals from Public and Private Higher Education Institutions (IPTA & IPTS), as well as international participants, to submit original research papers for publication.
1. Submission Guidelines
● Each paper may have a Maximum of three (3) authors.
● All abstracts and full papers will be peer-reviewed by appointed reviewers.
● Participants must submit their abstracts and papers via Google Drive by creating a folder in accordance
with the Research Paper Guidelines.
● The Google Drive link and Research Paper Guidelines will be dispatched to authors immediately upon acceptance.
2. Payment Information
The participation fee must be paid online to the following account:

The Participation ID Number will be issued together with the Abstract Acceptance Letter. Proof of payment (in .pdf format) must be submitted after receiving the acceptance letter to the Treasurer of Innofest 2026 at innofest2026@pss.edu.my. Participants will also be given an email notification regarding the submission of the full paper after the abstract review process is complete.
3. Publication and Certification
● All accepted and successfully submitted full papers shall be published either in the INNOFEST-26 Proceedings,
registered with an e-ISBN and accessible via the official website of Politeknik Sandakan Sabah, or in the Politeknik &
Kolej Komuniti Journal of Social Sciences and Humanities.
● Only receive one (1) e-Certificate of Appreciation as Author.
● Participant names on certificates will follow the spelling and author order provided during registration.
4. Terms and Conditions
● The participation fee is non-refundable under any circumstances, including withdrawal from publication.
● Failure to submit the full paper will result in cancellation of participation, and no certificate will be issued.
5. FORMAT
a. Abstract Format
I. Please use the template provided and submit in .docx format as per the attachment.
II. Abstract writing can be in English or Bahasa Malaysia.
III. Research Title: Upper Case, Bold, Font 12 and Times New Roman.
Name of The Author and Institution: Capitalize Each Word, Font 12 and Times New Roman.
IV. Nuber of Words:
a. The number of words is 250-300.
b. Font: 10; Single spacing; Times New Roman
V. Brief content of the abstract:
Background of the problem
Innovation Objective / objective
Method / Approach
Uniqueness / novelty
Prototype results / results
Potential applications or market
b. Full Paper Format
● The full paper can be written in English or Bahasa Malaysia, but participants are required to write their papers
in English to be selected as one of the TOP 10 BEST PAPERS and published in the Politeknik & Kolej Komuniti
Journal of Science and Humanities. Non-selected papers will be published in the Innofest 2026 e-proceeding.
