INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE ON INDUSTRIAL ENGINEERING FOR SUSTAINABILITY 2026
(ICIES 2026)

Surabaya, Indonesia
November, 5th and 6th, 2026

The Faculty of Chemical Engineering & Technology at UniMAP is delighted to announce that we will be hosting the International Conference On Industrial Engineering For Sustainability 2026 (ICIES 2026) on November, 5th and 6th, 2026, in Surabaya, Indonesia. The conference theme is ‘Integrating Engineering, Technology, and Sustainability for a Better Tomorrow’.

In this regard, the International Conference on Industrial Engineering for Sustainability (ICIES 2026) is proposed as an international-level academic and professional platform aimed at bringing together researchers, academicians, industry practitioners, policymakers, and postgraduate students to share research findings, innovations, and best practices in engineering towards sustainability. This conference represents a rebranding and expansion of scope from the previous conference, namely the International Conference of Chemical Science, Engineering & Technology (ICo-CSET), which was organized in 2021. The change in name and focus was made to reflect the current nature of research, which is no longer confined to a single discipline, but instead involves the integration of various engineering and technological fields in addressing global sustainability issues.
.
The selection of this year's conference theme underscores the contemporary issues of sustainability and green technology within industry, resonating with the ongoing developments in engineering technology. A specially invited keynote speaker will share insights into the current trends in various engineering technology, contributing to SDG 7 (Affordable and Clean Energy), SDG 9 (Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure), and SDG 12 (Responsible Consumption and Production).
