Call for Papers

1st World Islamic Economics Conference (WIEFC 2018) aims to bring together leading International and local academicians, scientists and researchers of Islamic Economics and Finance to exchange and share their experiences and research results on all aspects of Islamic Economics & Finance. It also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners and educators to present and discuss the recent development and innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted in the fields of Islamic Banking, Economics, and Finance industry around the world. The conference welcome speech will be delivered by Shaykh-ul-Islam Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri, Chairman Board of Governors (BOG), Minhaj University Lahore.

WIEFC 2018 is going to be organized as the indisputable compass for the global Islamic Economics, Finance, and Banking Industry, building a robust platform that comprises of leading bankers, institutional investors, asset managers, policy makers and academicians from across the World to share their knowledge, experience, and expertise.

The conference theme is “Developing Economy of Islam with Islamic Finance”, reflecting the fact that global economy finds itself at an important inflection point. WIEFC 2018 is aimed at enabling Islamic Finance to converge, strengthen and grow itself as an Economic System whilst equipping leaders with breakthrough insights to navigate the complexity of the global financial system.

REVIEW PROCESS

Abstracts will be gone through blind review by the scientific committee for possible acceptance and rejection. The selected abstracts will be notified for final papers submission.

Publication

The best 5 research papers will be published in International Journal of Islamic and Middle Eastern Finance and Management subject to fulfilling the journal's requirements and meeting criteria. 

Rest of the Conference research papers will be published in the University's research journal and will also be published in the conference proceeding.
